Privacy Policy

MeWorks Website, Project Manager Portal, and Private Integrations

Effective date: September 6, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how MeWorks Inc. (“MeWorks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information through the MeWorks website, the MeWorks Project Manager portal (the “Portal”), and private business integrations operated by MeWorks, including the QuickBooks Online integration (collectively, the “Services”). The Portal supports approved MeWorks personnel, contractors, clients, vendors, and other collaborators. Signing in does not automatically grant access; new users remain pending until an authorized Portal administrator approves them.

2. Information We Process

Google identity information. When a person uses Google Sign-In, we receive basic identity information authorized by the user, such as name, email address, profile image, Google account identifier, email-verification status, and, when applicable, Google Workspace domain information. The Portal requests basic authentication scopes (openid, email, and profile) and does not use Google Sign-In to access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or other Google Workspace content.

Portal account and access information. We process approval status, workspace membership, roles, departments, assigned permissions, session information, sign-in timestamps, and security or audit events.

Project and collaboration information. Authorized users may provide project, task, comment, assignment, status, priority, attachment-reference, and related business information through the Portal.

QuickBooks information. Depending on the features an authorized user invokes, private integrations may process QuickBooks company identifiers, chart-of-accounts references, tax settings, customer and business-contact details, estimates, invoices, line items, payment status, balances, transaction identifiers, OAuth credentials and tokens, connection status, timestamps, error details, and limited operational logs.

Website and technical information. Our systems and hosting providers may process IP address, browser and device information, request metadata, cookies or similar session technologies, and diagnostic logs needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the Services.

3. How We Use Information

  • Authenticate users and verify identity through Google or other approved sign-in methods.
  • Create pending access requests, enable authorized administrators to approve or reject users, and enforce workspace roles and permissions.
  • Provide project-management and collaboration functionality to approved users.
  • Connect private integrations to systems selected and authorized by an account administrator.
  • Read, prepare, reconcile, and, only when expressly authorized, create or update accounting, billing, and related business records.
  • Maintain security, prevent unauthorized or duplicate activity, diagnose failures, support auditability, and improve reliability.
  • Comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, contractual, and recordkeeping obligations.

4. Authentication, Approval, and Control

Google Sign-In verifies a user’s identity but does not grant Portal authorization. A first-time or unapproved user is recorded as pending and cannot access protected Portal functionality until an authorized MeWorks administrator approves the account. Administrators may reject, suspend, change, or revoke access at any time.

QuickBooks access occurs through Intuit’s authorization process. An authorized QuickBooks administrator chooses the company to connect and may revoke access through Intuit or by contacting MeWorks. A private integration does not authorize itself to a company without the account holder’s consent.

5. Disclosure of Information

MeWorks does not sell personal information or use Portal or QuickBooks data for third-party advertising. We may disclose information only to service providers that host, secure, maintain, or support the Services and are subject to appropriate confidentiality or data-protection obligations; to Google, Intuit, and other connected services as necessary to provide user-authorized functionality; to authorized workspace members according to Portal permissions; when required by law or valid legal process; when reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, or prevent fraud or abuse; or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer subject to applicable legal and confidentiality requirements.

6. Storage, Security, and Retention

MeWorks uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. Credentials and tokens are kept outside source code in access-restricted configuration or secret-management systems. Access is limited according to business need and assigned permissions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain security and audit records, support business and accounting operations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations. Revoking a connected service stops future access but may not automatically delete records that MeWorks must retain for legitimate business or legal purposes.

7. Your Choices and Requests

Users may revoke Google access through their Google Account security settings and may disconnect QuickBooks access through Intuit. Revoking a provider connection does not by itself delete a Portal account or information already retained for legitimate purposes.

Questions or requests concerning access, correction, deletion, or retention may be submitted to info@meworks.io. Some requests may be limited by security, accounting, tax, contractual, or other legal requirements. Workspace administrators may also manage or revoke a user’s Portal access.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Services are business tools and are not directed to children. MeWorks does not knowingly use the Services to collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

MeWorks may update this Privacy Policy as the Services or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are published.
